The notice of Jessica missing still appears on the OIJ website and facebook page.

Original story published earlier this morning:

The  Sección de Delitos Varios del Organismo de Investigación Judicial  (OIJ) said that 25 year old American tourist, Jessica Jana Johnson, is missing and is asking for help in locating her. The woman went missing on Feb. 20, 2014, according to the OIJ.

Authorities do not know what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance, but do know she has a recent cut on the side of her nose, as shown in the OIJ photo and a tattoo of a heart on her arm.

Her physical description is: 1.7m (5′ 7″), long black hair, green eyes and slim built.

The OIJ is asking for any information on Johnson to call 800-8000645  or email at cicooij@poder-judicial.go.cr or visit their Facebook page.

All information will be treated confidentially.
