A senior, identified as Norman, was forcibly removed by supporters of the Cuban regime who carried out an activity on the Cuban reality and its “contribution to world peace” at the San Ramón Regional Museum, run by the Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR).

The man appeared at the meeting to express his disagreement with what was being said, but he was forced out by two attendees to the activity organized by the Semilla Ramonense y Movimiento de Solidaridad con Cuba.

Norman claimed that the government of Cuba is a dictatorship of 60 years and that they did not let him speak.

In a video circulating the social networks, the voice of a woman who defends Norman can be heard when he is taken out, saying that he raised he had raised his hand to participate.

She asked the museum guard not to let them force him out or treat him that way. In the video, this guard is unresponsive.

However, the reaction from the movement was different. Trino Barrantes, a member of the Partido Varguardia Popular y del comité del Movimiento Solidaridad con Cuba told La Nacion that the senior “came screaming out of control” during the speech by the Cuban ambassador to Costa Rica, Danilo Sánchez.

“Violently he interrupted and threw papers and the Semilla Ramonense security team took him by his arms and took him out. They did not attack the man,” Barrantes alleged.

The ambassador confirmed the events related by Barrantes, saying:”He interrupted, threw something and pushed a chair.”

For his part, in the video, Norman states: “They won’t let me talk. They want to make this country like Cuba. 15,000 Cubans moved to Costa Rica fleeing the hell of Cuba. Cuba is hell. Cuba is not a democracy, it is a 60-year dictatorship, killing its people.
