The closure comes at the heels of Wendy’s Costa Rica shutting its doors last week, leaving 110 people out of work.

Karol Fallas, Director of Franchising, confirmed that the closure means the layoff of 110 employees. The owners of the firm Malcom Mathenson andd Isable Schaer, have not made any statements regarding the closure of the company they started in 2000, with the first location in Barrio La California.
